WHY “DIVERGENCE”?
In vector calculus, divergence is a vector operator that operates on a vector field, producing a scalar field giving the rate that the vector field alters the volume in an infinitesimal neighborhood of each point. — Wikipedia
In flow analysis, positive divergence will mark a source whereas a negative divergence will indicate a sink. The goal is to become a source of products, a producer, rather than a consumer.
The industry has a ton of design convergence, which in some cases is in reaction to an established performance node or general-purpose design and in others is due to a lack of creativity and reconsideration. In other words, these design pools have become a human effort sink where people compete to sell 99% similar rifles, placards, pull-tab-adjustable 2-point slings, etc., which is a waste of time and talent.
You will not see this here, except for a few products that simply fill an obvious hole and/or are fun products. We hope that your reactions will be, “I can’t believe no one has made that yet,” and, “wow, that one thing makes a big difference.”
So, the simple “del-dot” operator inscribed within the circle is our mark.
Yes, there is neuro-divergence involved, too.Yes, the symbol is a mathematical operator.Yes, that’s a nerd joke.

The Child Brand, Null Systems
A NON-STANDARD ETHOS
We design equipment seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
Our products are American-made, mechanically honest, and developed on timelines long enough to get things right. They are not skeletonized for the sake of weight, not needlessly machine-time-minimized, and not outsourced to save a dollar at the cost of dimensional control, material control, and national integrity.
This is a young venture, and there exists two brands with a collection of products. Some are dead-useful, others are for fun, and others are fun variations of functional equipment.
Parallax exists to solve real optical problems through complete, integrated systems.
Null Systems is starting off with muzzle devices, and some of them are just cool art pieces that do function. By all means, run an A2 flash hider or a 3-port brake, or live a little and create different signatures.
Engineering includes art.
Life is short. Build interesting weapons and enjoy your time.
Divergence exists to provide the common man with life-saving equipment based on experience in the American Southeast and Rocky Mountains. From swamp to summit, come rain, shine, or sandstorm, whether the air is at 110 °F or -40 °F, may you overcome both man and nature.
